The Private Estate Housekeeper will care for a 7k sq.
ft.
home in Manhattan Beach to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and service.
The Housekeeper should be a Type A personality; very organized with extreme attention to detail.
The Housekeeper should have a tried and true system that helps the home run efficiently, be detail-oriented, and triple-check their work so they stay on task during their work days.
They are the type of Housekeeper who would never leave a load of laundry in the washer or dryer, you re-check rooms after someone leaves, check garbage and towels before they leave for the day, and have an eye for all things housekeeping.
Responsibilities:
Duties include the overall care and cleaning of the home; daily and deep cleaning, all laundry, tidying common areas, unpacking deliveries, breaking down boxes, and keeping the garage and basement organized.
The Housekeeper may also be asked to do some light meal prep.
The Housekeeper may also be assigned to run various errands at times.
The Housekeeper will be assisting a family of four and one small dog in the house, and the MRS does have a Personal Assistant.
The children typically attend activities until 7pm but the Housekeeper will be asked to assist with some light childcare duties; providing meals for the children, assisting with getting ready for school, school drop off, and pick up.
Qualifications and Physical Demands:
Previous experience in cleaning and childcare with strong references Strong attention to detail Strong work ethic, self-directed, discreet and professional Able to communicate effectively in a positive/upbeat fashion utilizing English fluently Maintain a professional, neat, and well-groomed appearance Able to sit, stand, bend, kneel, and walk for long periods of time Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 30 lbs unassisted in the performance of specific tasks Own their vehicle, a valid driver's license, and a clean driving record to run errands are required.
Mileage is reimbursed.
Clients prefer a local Manhattan Beach Private Estate Housekeeper or within a 30-minute drive.
Schedule:
Full-time, 8-hour days, Monday through Friday with occasional weekends, with flexibility as needed Stipend for medical, dental, and vision can be provided.
Employment is contingent on passing a background and reference check.
