The primary responsibility of this position is to assist technologists in the imaging centers.
As the Hospital Assistant II you will contribute to the patient experience by preparing the Power Injectors, assist with worklist workflow management, utilizing the Radiology Information System (RIS) and the Hospital Information System (HIS) in the verification of image data archival via PACS while maintaining a clean, safe and well-stocked environment.
As the Hospital Assistant you will assist the technologist with patient preparation duties including but not limited to:
Ensuring the safe and timely transport of patients Moving patients on and off the examination tables MRI safety screening, room preparation, education and patient set up Processing standard paperwork utilizing Epic/CareConnect, RIS and any systems utilized in the verification of image data archival via GE PACSNET/Centricity Stocking and obtaining supplies Salary:
$21.

Qualifications BLS certificate from American Heart Association or American Red Cross - required High School Diploma - required Demonstrated experience in the medical field with HIS system experience - preferred Ability to respond efficiently to expressed needs of referring services, physicians and patients.
Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively and diplomatically with patients, visitors, hospital staff, physicians, scientists and other outside departments both in person and over the telephone.
Understands the requirement of EMTALA (Emergency Medical Treatment and Active Labor Act).
