The role of the assistant varsity softball coach is to be responsible for coaching, character development and providing direction to student athletes so that they might achieve a high level of skill as well as an appreciation for discipline, sportsmanship and teamwork in softball.
This job requires you:
To assist head coach in softball game schemes, practice plans, and have the knowledge and ability to assist in softball skills.
To interact thoughtfully and respectfully with student athletes, fellow coaches, staff, parents and community and well as follow the mission of the school.
To positively communicate strategies, possess organizational skills, and understand softball player safety.
To attend Fall and Winter practices along with Spring season (February - May).
Requirements:
Previous softball coaching and/or playing experience at the high school level or above is highly preferred.
